well i just replaces some leaky valve cover gaskets, hooked everything back up. she went from a stuttering problem at about 2150 rpm. now there is either missing or backfiring, way more engine viblration than there used to be. and my neighbor seems to think i knocked the timing out of adjustment. buti don't see how thats could be it when i didn't move anything related to the timing. anyway i've searched to see if anything like this happened to anyone else but all i can seem to find is how to change the gaskets. i need to find out if anyone has had this happen to them after replacing and how they fixed it...
