Two questions (couldn't find through a search)

Alright I have two questions (duh)


1)How do you tighten the e-brake? I notice there is a nut on it (i'm assuming to tighten it) but it feels like it's maxed out, and my ebrake is still pretty sloppy.

2) On the trim behind the door (by the hatch) can you get replacement clips?

I tried searching but it they pull up a lot of stuff. I couldn't really find anything.

thats for the e brake lever, go forward a page to make sure its within adjustment range (counting the clicks)

are you trying to adjust the lever or the shoes?

shoes self adjust... the handle has to be adjusted ove the years as the cable stretches.

Are you talking about the vents behind the windows, the body moulding around the car, or the trim around the windows?

Do they? I've noticed better performance after doing a manual clean/adjust. Maybe they're just dirty.

Yep, the adjuster is to back them off if you can't get the rotor off, not to tighten them.

Man a lot of replies! The body trim deal. Not the window trim. I'm also talking about tightening the cable.

Grimreaper posted the link to how to adjust the parking brake, there is a spec for the amount of clicks it should be as well in the pages before.

Body trim I think you can get the clips from the dealer still.
