im looking at completing my fuel system and i've been thinking about using these hoses instead of the usual AN SS hoses. Anyone here have experience with these? suppose to be rated at 250 PSI so it should be good but i'd like to make sure. I would also need to use the twist lok/push lok type hose ends?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-emp.

ALL of my AN fittings are push lok, if you use the correct hose and fitting in an automotive application you won't have an issue, only 2 places I won't use them are on the Turbo due to the heat and the Pwr steer high pressure line.

Nice, i knew Ian would come to the rescue lol...is there a difference in the push lok fittings and the "twist lok" fittings? this is gonna make my fuel set up a much easier task.

Thanks Ian!!

Just had a look at their site and can't find an install/assembly guide but just looking at them and having used normal pushlok a LOT in the past I think the hose size would be critical for the twist loks due to the sleeve cover they use over the hose OD.

When I fit mine I use a heatgun to soften the hose and some window cleaner to lube the barb before I push the hose on using another fitting in the Vice to screw the pushlok to, this is the only way I found that works 100% of the time without getting stuck at the 1st barb.

LOL what I mean is they will have a specific brand hose they spec for their fittings if for instance you go to another brand it may have a thicker wall and NOT go into the sleeve properly is all.

id like to add or reiterate rather what IJ said about different brands. people may not realize but across the different manufactures the sizes for the hoses and fittings may differ slightly.

some times you can get an EARLS fitting when aeroquip dosnt have the one you need available so you will want to double check all the dimensions of the hose and fittings to ensure itll hold up under pressure.

I've had good results with the Summit Twist-Tite hose/fittings. I've been using it for oil...it is rated for gasoline though.
AeroQuip AQP Socketless hose is also quite good.
