Just curious if others have though of a different way of routing the twin turbo piping.

The usual design has TWO SEPARATE manifolds into their respective turbos.

The proposed manifold used ONE manifold, but splits the piping across the exhaust ports.

Pros, cons, lets have a chat.

ok, so with the firing order, is this an advantage or not?

order: 1 5 3 6 2 4

to myself i am guess it IS an advantage to have the split. Are alot of small "puffs" better than spaced large ones?

Which is even/smooth distribution of exhaust gas.

you want

1 #1t | 2 #1T | 3 #1t | 4 #2t | 5 #2t | 6 #2t

Which would be alot less smooth. Im not sure what effect this will have but it would be interesting to see.

No it's not, that's not the firing order at all.

I can't remember the firing order off the top of my head, but I believe it's something like 152634, which is actually very evenly distributed with stock manifolds.

firing order is 1-5, 3-6, 2-4.

On a normal twin manifold setup you'll have cyls 123 - 456
On the setup you suggested above you'll have 135 - 246

If you look at the firing order, you'll have a very uneven air flow, which is not a good setup. What you want is to maintain flow at all times. You can pretty much use any combination you want as long as it maintains the flow. in other words you can use exhaust ports 134 - 256, or 235 - 146, etc...but is just easier for the sake of piping to use 123 - 354.

I wasnt saying that was the firing order i was discribing which turbos received exhaust flow at which time.
I was not discribing the cylinder number but the exhaust cycle. Cylinder one exhaust goes to #1 turbo Cylinder 5 Exhaust goes to #2 turbo, I said exhaust 1 #1T exhaust 2 #2 Turbo. make sense ??
