Turn signals buzzing

I have two combo switches in hand, one from a 1990 and another that is original to my 1986.5 car and both make my flasher relay buzz when I use the turn stalk, yet this relay works fine for flashers.

I've replaced the combo switch and the flasher relay with used ones, so is there a wright up on how to test the combo switch and relay? I've checked and found nothing. Thanks

I'm stumped. Replaced the relay flasher with a random used one and its still doing its buzzness. Can somebody help me determine the function of the combo switch with a battery and volt meter? I can't find any diagrams for those two plugs.
