So when I was removing my turo, the 4 nuts to the manifold that keep the turbo on where fingertight and I had a huge leak.

Questions,
Does a big leak there cause much power loss?
Can I use lockwashers with those nuts to help keep them on?

a big leak would cause quite a bit of power loss.

as for lockwashers, just torque it to the proper specs and that should be it. lockwashers aren't going to do anything after they get heated up.

EDIT: doh, I hate being the second guy :( haha

Okay I will see what I can do. I just put the turbo on 10,000 miles ago so that is why it didnt make sense that they were so loose.

The exhaust studs (turbo included) use a crown type lock nut...that's what the slots at the top are for. Yours may have expanded at the top...get some new ones from the dealer. Or compress yours slightly with a big pair of channel locks.
