I picked up the JDM ct thats been gracing the floor of my storeroom for about 4 months and I realized that oil was dripping from the compresser inlet and exhaust outlet. Is this normal at all or does this mean i can throw out using it?
TIA- John

Well I'm just asking if its normal for oil to drip from a turbo anywhere but from the oil tubes. I poured some oil into the return line and covered it and it poured through the compressor outlet and exhaust inlet again. Its dripping a LOT from the compressor and exhaust wheel and I was under the impression that the center section was sealed so that oil wouldn't leak into your intake or exhaust.

Shaft play is nil and it spins by hand very smooth.

some oil could get in the pipes....its called blow by. That explains sometimes when you pull your ic pipes or accordian hose there is oil in there. Alot of oil is bad....a little is ok

not sure about when its off the car though.

the oil in the intercooler, compressor inlet, pipes and intake manifold is from the PCV system. this is oil from the center cartridge which leads me to believe its bad.
