I currently have a Mitsubishi Heavy Industrial turbo that Im planning on running here pretty soon. Now on most turbos that Ive seen, they usually have the AR size of the Exhaust housing Imprinted on the Housing itself. I recently realized that Mitsubishi doesnt use AR but instead they go by cm

Question came up that someone on here know where to fine the conversion chart for the Exhaust Housing so If I want to change it, Im not going to something the same.

The cm on the Turbo is 17cm, I know that the 16g Mitsubishi turbos are only 8cm

Can someone enlighten me on this

Thanks
Robert

Ooooh - I dont know about the mitsu turbo. I ran into a similar problem with a garrett gt42 that I wanted to run but the turbines were different so the different housing wouldnt fit.

MmmBoost

DDS Performance
trim of turbine = diameter of exducer / diameter of inducer

the trim of the housing has to be identically matched to the turbine itself. the a/r of the housing has nothing to do with the actual turbine.

a/r = surface area of opening that is closest to the turbine / surface area of opening on turbine inlet flange

if the turbine measurements are close enough, any competent machinist will be able to make it fit.

clarify anything?
