The housings have a couple bolts holding them in.

The wheels are held onto the shaft by nuts.

T4 turbos are fairly simple to take apart.

yeah k so i was looking for a parts breakdown not criticism, and whatever cuz i found one and i already took it apart.... also you can rebuild a turbo yourself without having to balance if the blades never made contact with the housings and there isn't internal damage, you just mark the shaft and wheel to help return the balance.... i am having a really shitty day and my blade is chipped... so dont treat me like an idiot.

also jeff i made a thread in MDCMotorsports, if you went here http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31956
and helped me out id be grateful

Hey Steve! - Depending on just how badly your turbine wheel is damaged, *if it hasn't been slottered "too" bad*, we can try and clip it...but otherwise, we'll just have to see it, pull the wheel and replace the whole thing (basically a rebuild).

Like I said, it just depends on just how bad it actually is. Do you have any CLOSE up pics for us to dabble with? :D

Jeff

*edit* I'm not critisizing you, brother! Was just making sure you are aware! :) I care.

sorry no pics i actuallly just put it back together cuz i figured it was dead, they are EXTREMELY small chips taken off the inside its hard to even notice they are there ... all put back together it spins freely and shaft play is perfectly fine, but i am scared about the balance.... so you if you could clip and balance it would be $90? and if the wheel is trashed it would be 375?

Correctomundo!

It is $45 for clipping and another $45 for balancing.

If the wheel IS trashed, $375 it is (for a rebuild).

If you can get around to getting some pics (no rush)...then we can make a more accurate decision with what we'll need to do...otherwise, you'll just have to send it in and we'll FYI you on what we find out.

Just let us know...:)

Jeff
