Hows it goin...Think this is my first post on this forum.Ive been a buisy reader though,through the last 6 months or so..
Anyway,i bought this 1990 Supra turbo in may this year.The car already had som modifications like steel hg,upgraded ct26,fcd,dastek piggyback etc.Output is about 300hp i guess.
I decided early on i wanted to go all the way with this new toy of mine,and build a kick ass car that i can have some fun with on trackdays as well as using it for a street car.
4-5 m,months ago i started planning and ordering parts.My goal is 600hp..!! And i got a couple questions...
About the tranny.2 guys i know,both have 7M's.1 has blown up 3,the other guy 6.I really dont wanne go through that many without at least have tried to get me a better one that will take abit more abuse.Is there any upgrade i can get to fit without being a transmission pro? As far as i know,no one makes a bolt on upgrade tranny for the 7MGTE? Can i get a 1JZ or 2JZ to fit with another housing?
2nd: Where i can nuy a good quality oil relocation kit?
And then theres the question about oil lubrication.Everyone talk about the stock oil system not being good enough for high hp's.Except for "shimming"? the oil pump to get higher pressure,what else can i do?
