Hi guys, I searched, but only found a mention of this about a 1jzgte-
How hard is it to replace both the front input shaft seal, and the rear ouput seal on the R154? Do I just have to pop out the old, and pop in the new one on the rear, and for the front, just unbolt the front input shaft cover?
I have the tranny out right now, and just thought it'd be cheap insurance against future leaks. Thanks.

the front is easy if you have the tranny out;

1. take off the bell housing
2. unbolt the imput shaft cover
3. pop out the seal
4. press the new one in with socket, pipe ect
5. clean and apply new rtv, and bolt everything back on, dont forget the locktite and to grease/oil the new seal.

you can check out the last post of my build thread. I dont have great pics I left my camera at home it has more detailed pictures on it.

Well, I removed and replaced the rear seal, no problems, and I removed the bellhousing and input cover, and popped out that seal as well. I had to order the front seal, it'll be a few days till that arrives, but that's ok, I have to wait a few days anyway till I have time to install the drivetrain.

Well, got the input shaft seal today, and dropped it in, no problem.
Then I FPIG'd the cover, and all done.
Thanks for the help guys.
