I have an '88 supra with the stock engine and transmission (automatic). The car has 152,000 miles on it. Wen i start it from a cold start and put it into reverse it lurches backwards no matter how hard your on the brakes. Also i have noticed, even after the car warms up, that if i come to a complete stop and as i accelerate in normal mode the car lurches each time it shifts. Power mode stops this for the most part. I was hoping this would be an 'easy' fix but i've already tried sea foam and that did help but i am thinking i'm gonna have to rebuild the transmission. If u know of a better way please let me know. Oh and the engine has been rebuilt so i think the engine is overpowering the transmission maybe.
