Hey guys, I was just wondering. if there is any difference in an MKIII, MKIV and SC300 tranny(w58)? Would I be able to use an SC300 or MKIV Bellhousing on my MKIII w58 to pair it with a 2jge? Any mods id have to do? Thanks..

Transmissions are the same, the bell housing is different. 7M w58= 7m bell housing 2J w58 = 2J bell housing. The bell housings do not mix and match. You've pretty much answered your own question.

The bell housing is specific to the motor, not the trans. If it is from a w58, it will fit any w58.
Also, the shifter housings will differ from transmission to transmission. I know for a fact the sc300 W58 and the Mk3 Supra W58 have two different shifter housings.
