TPS sensor not getting signal

Just started up my 1j last night. Had very high idle and the first thing I thought of was that I had replaced the cracked TPS sensor that came with the engine with a new one. Maybe I goofed and installed it wrong. Turns out it was installed fine, but not getting signal. This is what I have.


5v to okay
12v to okay
ground okay
no signal coming out but has continuity to computer
no signal at the computer as well as tps itself

Thoughts and ideas?
