Torquing cams

then i run no risk of bending a valve correct?

Well that is the manual... I never had a problem.

7M = non-interference. There is no position you can leave the crank at that will bend a valve.

You are right. That helps when you snap a timing belt.

thanks guys, im the only person i know that does supras. All my technically minded friends are ford guys and apparently thats a problem. thanks for the clarification.

unless you use a thin head gasket, on shaved head, w/oversized valves, and big cams. then it might be interference . but in stock for no worries .
