To throw on a better turbo?

Hi. I was just wondering to myself about turbos. My question is this. If I got a nice new manifold and a T4 turbo, and a nice wastegate, could I just put that on my stock 7MGTE and go? (I have no concern with exhaust configuration) But what issues would I encounter? Would I just hit fuel cut or what would happen?

Need fueling and tuning. Without those you'll most likely hit fuel cut or blow the motor if you have a fcd.
