Tire size suggestions?

My newish wheels are getting painted polished and recleared but I have yet to buy tires. I want to keep my spedo somewhat accurate but if it is a little off no big deal. my only real concern is rear tire fender clearance (I will probably have to roll). The wheels are 17x8 +34 and 17x9 +14 super Advan sa3 two-peice wheels. I have RS*R race springs so I have about 2 inch clearance all around stock wheel&tire size.

I run 17's with a 45 sidewall. My speedo reads around 4 mi. fast at 70(I have a Tom Tom navigation unit. It works off GPS, so should give me an accurate speed).

Uhhhh close to stock you can use these 225/45/17 245/40/17. Or something like that.

that will tell u how far off you speedo will be if u change the tire size

If I had that wheel size I would go 245/40/17 up front and 265/35/17 in the rear. Im not to sure how that would affect your speedo but that would give you about the same sidewall all the way around and maximum width without bulging.

EDIT: According to the tire size calculator with that rear tire size your speedo will read 60mph when your actually going 58.7mph.

Use a 40 sidewall on the rear for 17's and you should only be off <1mph
