On the cam gears I know that u have to line the marks up but when i put the crank on 0 the cam gears are a half a tooth off eather direction. should i line it up to the right or the left of the marks . I have worked on other ppls supras and theres is the same way. right now i have mine a half tooth to the left of the marks. I also set my timing at 10 degrees. the reason i ask is because i am running regular gas usauly dont but it is pinging when i accelerate about half pedel. When i had my orig motor it didnt do this with regular gas. Also do u think it would be just the gas.

To correct what I said on my first thread I usaully keep the cam marks slightly to the right of the cover marks. I seem to get a little more power from 1500rpm to 3000rpm than to the left. And the tension on the belt is good allround. Also I was just wondering if the exaust cam should be slightly to the right of the mark. And the intake cam slightly to the left of the mark or viseversa.
