Um shot me for not searching but I am at school now but earlier I was setting my car up to take the crank bolt out and all.
I lined the exhaust cam and the intake cam to the top. Both cams are lined to that mark on the backplate housing what ever. When I looked down at the Crank pulley to see if it landed on TDC it WASNT. With both Intake and exhaust cam mark pointed up my crank was at the 5 degree mark rather 0 TDC..
I only got to droved the car for about 25 minutes worth (from the shop home) before seeing I had a BHG but the car seemed to drive fine. I even gunned the car onces out of curiousity and it didnt do anything weird other then a jerk from a boost valcuum leak.
Sooooo......... if that ok or when I put the new belt one line it up to 0 TDC and keep the cams lined up then install the belt and redo timing?
