MY CAR IS FINALLY OUT AND ON THE ROAD

There are a few minor problems though

I think the bolt from the rear turbo is rubbing my Firewall. Makes allot of extra noise in the car.

I had the same issue again with the low voltage at idle and also had the car stall on me twice when i came to a stop ????? then afterwards it was fine. The voltage did drop when it stalled both times. After that the idle and voltage were both fine.

I have Checked almost all my grounds. Even put some Electrical silicon on them for better contact.

The one from the bat, the one from the back of the engine and the one on the bottom of the engine. the only one i did not check is the one off of the cross brace for the tranny. could it really be causing all my troubles?

Other then that my clutch feels a bit to high like it is only engauging at the very top with the pedal. I did bleed out the line when i install the clutch again. Do i have to adjust it or something even though it's basicly the same clutch?

Is it posible that it's not dis-engauging fully? it seems tough to shift two second sometimes, from a stand still or down shifting.

A shop forgot to reconnect my rear tranny ground, it was just resting against the tranny. Sometimes the car would start, sometimes it wouldn't. Once I reconnected it all my problems went away. I even told the bastards to check it.

The clutch can be adjusted. The adjustment rod is at the top of the clutch pedal.

::w00t:: Congrats Josh!!!!!!!!!!

I had to adjust my clutch when I put a new one in. It really makes a big difference. Mine was actually doing the opposite of yours though. Mine was engaging right as it left the floor. Good luck getting your little problems fixed.
How are the turbos spooling? I hope they work out good for you.............lol

i will see what i can get done tonight.

I will worry about the cosmetic stuff later :)

Jay the Turbos seem to spool ok i have not really had a chance to check yet. taking it easy making sure everything was ok first. But on the other hand the Turbos Blow Blue smoke out the exhaust when i boost. i had a friend driving behind me just in case on my first drive. he is the one that told me that because i did not really see it. Plus it was night time

its going to be a real bitch to change out those twins while they are in the car if the turbo seals are gone.

I find that the PS On the 1J is allot more sensitive or twitchy compared to what i had before. Has anyone else noticed this?

i think i had a tool or bolt i left under the hood :(

I was cruising down the highway last night just getting a feel for the car and i heard a nice clang :( Sounded like something fell. I looked under the hood and checked things just to make sure it was not a part of something i forgot to attached or tighten up but all seemed to be there and fine :)

it's finally dry today so i will try and get under the car and check the ground off the tranny cross brace.

Anything else i should look for?
