time to cry more supra probs

So i got the car back from toyota today £498 bout $900 down she starts she runs WOOOOO untill i drive her home.

i only live 2 miles away so i took the 10 mile run just to see how she is. i was driving nicely no hardness. and the temp didnt go up at all. and the oil pressure went out of the guage just driving at 50-60mph all the way. the bad thing is it still rises even at idle and the rad still has god damn compression in it. no water is comin from the rad cap or overflow but UGH.

The oil pressure wouldn't affect coolant pressure... My guess is a bad sender.

hehe i didnt say it would did i? these are just all the problems but bad sender hmmmm interesting. i'm gonna have a rundown of the car tomorrow with a friend piishin me off now it went in for a hg in july and i'm still feeling the backlash from it

its a country lane. 60mph speed limit in 5th gear hardly ragging it

cars runnin fine compression in rad is now gone just needed bled erm still got the oil pressure problem but theres not any in the actual engine it just seems to be the guage and the water temp guage not working either.

Does the gauge come down at all? Like when you turn the car off?

yea comes down when car is off then when ignition is put back on there it goes again straight back up (thats after it goes up idling for a while)

My temp gauge would do that (peg the gauge), it was something to with the gauge/wiring/sender as I hooked up an aftermarket one and it was reading perfectly fine.

oh yea another thing is my dipstick seems to be stuck and won't come all the way out. any idea's what would be causing this and how to get it out?

I'd also check to make sure your oil pressure sender line isn't grounded. Mine grounded out, drove the needle all the way up, and made the needle move off of the actuator so it stayed pegged all the time. I had to take the cluster out and disassemble and put the needle back on.

Might be worth checking to see if that wire is grounded on anything or not...

shima glad you got your car running by any chance did they tell you what they did to fix it beside vacuum leaks.

yea man erm heres the list

vacuums
both inlet gaskets
throtle body gasket
cold start injector (new one installed &#163;80) < :O
6 new plugs
erm air hose cleaned and just everything tightened.
erm oh and ISC valve
