Hi everyone, i am coming towards the end of my 1jz ma70 swap and I cant seem to figure out the throttle cable. I have a 2jz cable and I have just installed it (what a pain) and im not sure how it is routed to the throttle. (sorry if confusing im a n00b) the cable seems long so im not sure if it is supposed to follow a certain path etc. also i cant figure how to attach it to the throttle....really dumb questions i imagine but if someone has a picture of their engine bay or could get me a close up on their "throttle" i believe (haha) it would be much appreciated

Thanks
steve

Just route it anywhere u wnt it. Look on SF at the ultimate jz engine thread, you'll have plenty of hood shots.

K thx, actually i figured out the problem is the wrong throttle cable. It was supposed to be a 2jz but must have come from a RHD or something cause its way too long....oh well guess ill have to buy new

Thanks all to the reply, got my new 94TT supra cable from the dealership today, hopefully it will fit like a glove (the guy at the local JDM store reccomended it) Drove the car home the other day with the long throttle cable on with a slight curve in it. Worked fine but not up to my definition of "safe" by any means :)
