Mine is sticking... i was just wondering if it was common for a 7M to have its throttle stick ( not closing all the way ). Can't be the spring... its very strong and the small dampener works just fine. I don't know whats making it not close all the way. As for something foreign inside of it i can tell you my turbo has been wearing out for 4-6 moths now and there is oil in the intake. But would oil make it stick! i really don't think so. And It only does it when warm.

throttle stop screw or maybe even the dashpot screw can do it and yes id imagine oil can make it stick some what, take it off and clean it out with carb cleaner or brake cleaner, whatever you choose.

Mainly i was just wondering if it was common :)

But i am going to clean it with crab/brake cleaner. Stop screws are fine... and Dashpot? u lost me there.

Also the runner has slack when off throttle and stuck open and reving about 1400rpm.

Had the same problem with mine. No matter how much i took the screw out it still would not close. I ended up just buying a 2nd hand one.

If the throttle is not being held open by the throttle stop screw or the Dashpot (which slows the throttle closing against the throttle stop screw)
then it may be crud that is accumulating on the throttle plate itself and keeping it from fully closing .
