Well, the title says it all. Mine is a little on the messed up side and the plastic (was it rubber at some time?) has cracked off nearly all of it except for around 3/4 mounting holes. They were not leaking before and 3/4 of them were very loose when I went to take them out.

I was thinking just running some FIPG around the install holes just be sure it doesn't pour oil out when I get it running again.

Thoughts?

The only thing is right now its my only car...

I guess I could put it back together, order one, then take it all apart again when it comes in.

You're talking about the cover in the spark plug valley correct?

Or am I completely lost.

Yea, he is. I was confused at first too.

I know they make a stainless steel one that makes it look better. Just don't remember who makes it.

I just cleaned all of the hard plastic off of mine...as long as the valve covers don't leak, it will work fine without the rubber seal.
OK, thats what I wanted to hear!

Not really interested in a stainless one, I could spend money on something a little better then that. ;)
