So I'm going to be swapping my 1JZ from its current home in my 88 (originally turbo 5 speed) to my new shell which is an 89 N/A Auto.
I will assume (and would appreciate confirmation) that:
a) I will need to swap my 89+ turbo tach into the N/A cluster.
b) The 89+ engine mounts will work fine with the 1JZ.
c) There are mounts for the intercooler on the car even though it was an N/A.
d) The ECU and engine harness will work fine but I may need to manufacture a new jumper harness for the body since it's coming from an 88.
annnnd of course, the Turbo LSD, driveshaft, R154, clutch pieces yadda yadda yadda...
Thoughts? Confirm/Deny/Elaborate?
