Been thinking of one of these for a while... kinda like the banshe in halo.
You could have a whole squadron of disposable banshe's for a squad of navy seals. Each personal flight frame would have a 50 cal machine gun, and two missles etc etc and enough POWERED flight time of 20 minutes.
Then just press the eject system and bail out. The unit would fall and self destruct.
The pilot would use a HALO system to get to the ground nice and quiet, in pitch black darkness.
