i am rewiring my 90 na to be a 87 turbo
my question about the thermostats is that if i keep the na thermo housing do i take the sensors from the 87 turbo thermohousing or are the sensors the same
from what i have read there are people who run the na waterneck on a turbo motor will that need rewireing or is it plug and play. i am slighty confused. i have read that the basic difference between the na and turbo is the coolant lines for the turbo.

Here's a pic of the turbo:

The thermostat housing (3 sensors) is going to depend on if you have a A/C condenser fan. The housing attaches to what is commonly called the water neck...the pic does not show the CSI time switch on top. The big difference as you alluded to is the coolant lines to the turbo - using a CT26, you need these lines/fittings.

It will - the NA has one less sensor iirc. Can't remember which one off the top of my head.
