I bought this car June of 05 for $800. The motor was already out and taken apart because of a spun bearing.Even though it wasn't in running condition, the chassis/body was in way better condition than the 3 previous cars I looked at.
This is what it looked like the night we brought it home:
The car originally came with some 17x7 Konig wheels, but I switched to the white package sawblades.

And the next morning:
The car originally had dark blue cloth interior, but the last owner sprayed it black with a vinyl spray that basically ruined it.
So I came across an 87 with dark blue cloth almost by accident, and the guy let me gut the car for $150.
Colin and I eventually swapped everything over til it was all in:
Finally, after almost a year and a half the car was running well enough to put on the road.
I've been buying more and more things as I find broken or worn pieces.
The center bearing in the stock driveshaft was shot, so I've since put in a JawsGear 1pc. Aluminum driveshaft.
I also have a brand new wiring harness from Curt @ Elmhurst:
And brand new Euro half-and-halfs from martyn&tara:
This is the motor currently (I have a new fan shroud, though):
It needs paint and a new front bumper, but here are some current pictures of the car:
Yes, there is paint on the tail lights.

I'm looking to do big things with this car, and since I just talked to Jeff @ MDC, I'm a little excited about some future plans :icon_bigg
Nothing big will be coming for at least 2 months though.
