The ABS LIGHT

Does anyone know the procedure for turning off the abs light correctly WUTHOUT REMOVING THE BULB .My car was not hit , i was changing my sreering column and forgit to disconnect the battery . now i have this blasred red light on and i want my black dash back. thanks

Ya the abs light is the check engine light for the abs system...

There is a special tool, or a procedure by hand. It involves alternating ground at specified intervals.
