TEMS / Car dies..

i hada question about tems, ive noticed that there are three lights so it shows if your in normal and sport but what does the third light do? ive seen it come on once or twice but thats it i was wondering if anyone could clarify on this.

Also ive been having a problem with my car at times, sometimes ill try and start my car within 20 minutes of driving it and my car turns on idles and then drops to o rpm and dies. if i rev it up or hold it between 800 - 1200 rpm it idles and works fine does anyone know why it would do this? its doesn't happen often but when it does its annoying..

the third light will come on when slowing down realy fast or if you are on the freeway doing a 100mph and touch the brakes it will come on, it is showing you that the shocks are getting stiffer, also helps body roll.

okay cool yeah i think those are probably the only times i saw it on thanks.

also any one have any ideas about why my car would start and then die?

yes ive just never seen the third light come on except for a few times..

That happens to me too!, i start the car & sometimes it dies immediately & i have to restart & hold the gas down for a couple seconds before it idles normal, sometimes it idles roughly at 500rpms. I get the 52 Knock sensor code though. Do you have that doe?

yeh i have the exact same problem! its annoying it happens randomly.. i don't have that code.. i havn't check yet though when i do ill get back to you.

check for vacuum leaks..
