My temperature gauge is stuck at max/hot after I installed new gauge faces(when the ignition is turned on). Also Randy tried grounding out the terminal at the thermostat and it caused the needle to jump slightly. The needle seems to be reinstalled correctly, because by hand, it only moves within the range of the gauge, hitting built-in stoppers top and bottom. I didn't plug in the supermonitor... is that a possible cause? Any ideas on what I should check?

Still got a 7m? Might be foreshadowing.
Sorry, no real useful info here, although make sure the cluster has everything snapped in, I didn't figure out something was loose in my cluster until it was halfway in already.

I would recheck the screws(2 or 3 iirc) in the back of the gauge cluster that hold the gauge in place and make sure they are tight, clean, and making a good connection.
