Dark gun metal looks good too. Even white. Your prefrance.

Stock off set is like +50.

18/10 +20-25 would look good all around. If you want stagger get 18/9 +25 in the front.

Also depends on how low you are going, what your going to do with the fenders and if you want meaty or stretched tires.

Look at ARZ's white Supra, he has some bronze 18's on a white car, they look fantastic. IIRC, the setup was the FN01-RC wheels, 17 (18?) x 9.5, +35-40mm offset, with 275's all around.

Another factor you should consider is the looks, if that even matters to you? Only the low offset ( either +15 or +22) real Volk TE37 comes in the concave faces ,which in my opinion makes any car its on look alot more aggressive. If you get the offset any higher then that then the faces are going to look flat, which is a less desirable aspect to some people (me included).

To me, I think the best TE37 combo for the mk3s is 18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +22, but that's just me. Or if you're gonna run some big brakes in the fronts then 18x9.5 +15 would be the way to go for the fronts.

Also if you're planning on buying brand new, these rims cost about $3600-4200 since now the dollar sucks and the yen has gone up considerably.

Do yourself a favor, don't jump on the first car you find. I would be SO much further along in my quest with my car if I had just bought my 88 back instead of the heap I have now.

Agreed on the concave face on the wheels looking good Joel. However, for that much money, you would be kind of foolish to not buy something like CCW's, or a used set of Works. Either that, or you you just REALLY like the TE37's...

Could always buy one of these too:

If they were standard 5-lug, and they had a whole set, I would be all OVER these! :D

I actually have those wheels. I it happens to be white on white. I've gotten alot of compliments for it. I've been told that it gives it a complete transformation look, even though it's just wheels. Alot of my co-workers have told me that my car wasn't noticeable til I got the wheels. I'll try to post up some pictures. I'm running 17x9.5 +35offset for the fronts, and 18x10.5 +15offset rears

Wondering what your coworkers drive that they think your car isn't noticeable... Last time I saw a Supra I didn't know about in town, I flipped around and followed him for a bit to say hi. Then again, I live in a small town, so...

Anyway, car looks nice. You don't get hassled over having your front plate folded/cut like you have it?

Thanks. I got hassled for it once, but I think they just wanted an excuse to pull me over. After they did the check up I guess, they just came back and said, yea we pulled u over for ur front lic plate, get it fixed. Then walked away

My setup..
fronts 19x9.5 +22 (245/30/19) Perfect fitment I think..
rears 19x10.5 +22 (305/25/19) Less tire would make it fit perfect.. but I need the tire.

I wish the rears were +30..

+30 offset won't give it the staggard deep dish look. My fronts are +35 and the spokes are flat. So the lower the offset the deeper the mount surface would be

Think you would need more tire if you had less wheel? Rubber bands only offer so much grip, right?

That said... it looks good. And you might be the first person I've ever seen with such an aggressive setup say that "less would be better". :p

Of course traction would be better if I had
A. less rim diameter
B. More tire height/sidewall

I'm not new to the aspect ;) I got these for a steal of a deal.. otherwise I'd be sitting on CCw classics (18x9.5 fronts and 17x11 rears) with a decent sidewall..

I'm not much of a fitment guy. it just happened to work out that way.. lol

I like traction.. in the right places at the right time ;)
