Targa sealings?

Hello i am about to take my mk3 apart. I have to take off the sealings in the rear for the targa roof. Does any one know if the sealing is glued on to the piece of metal that is bolted to the car?

Hope that you understand what i am talking about?

I seem to remember that the rear seal fits into a groove on that metal bracket that's bolted to the car, and from there, the sides have little plastic rivets that pop into the door jamb area. Has been a while, but I don't think any sealant of adhesive is required to form a good seal on the front and rear seals. The sides, however, require some sort of sealant. If you search, or if someone who knows the link would post it, Grimjack had posted a really good writeup about doing the targa seals. I think it was him anyway... Good luck!
