Taking Timing Gears Off?

how would i do this without the tool tsrm suggests to use? anyone?

i got a small selection of tools..

Just the timing gears?

I just leave the belt on and take the bolts off with a 14mm. I didnt know there was any more to it than that.

Look on the cam between the cyl 1 and cyl 2 lobes. There is a spot there were you could put an adjustable wrench and have someone keep them from turning while you unwrench the bolt.

I used that method, works great if your valve covers are already off.
