tachometer question

this question is for those running a cop setup on their 7m.
how do you get the tach to work after the swap?
should i buy an msd adapter, or is there another way?
btw, i'm running subaru sti coils...... and, yes they work. lol

If your still using the stock igniter then it doesn't matter which coils. The tach signal comes from the igniter not the coils.

no igniter. i'm using smart coils.

If your using the aem there should be a tach output pin coming from the aem.

follow up question......
will the aem tach output send a signal that the tach can use? or will i need some kind of adapter, like an msd box?
