It usually happens around 3200 rpms.

I changed the cam tower gaskets, so I assume I messed a round with the CPS wiring a little.

Solutions? Car goes back to customer tomorrow morning.

could be you messed with the cps but...does it stay at 3200 at all times or does it go form 0-3200 and than just stay there...does the car rev past that and the tach just dosen't show it?

I'm sorry, I should of clarified, The tach just sticks. The engine is at idle, but the tach will stick, if previously reved into that range.

There are no driveability issues, but the tachometer sticks

sounds like the needle is on crooked? if it gets to a certain part of its oscillation then it is touching the tach face and will tend to stick. I would take the cluster out real quick and verify that instead of messing with all the electronics.
