t3 60-1 or gt3076 on stock 1j?

As some of you know I tried out using a holset hx35 12cm^2 on my old motor and while it was totally awesome I wish it would have spooled a little faster. I was hitting 15 psi around 4300 with that thing.

On the new motor the goal is to have 18psi under 4000 and ultimately make around 400whp. Not a big goal I know but this is what I'm looking for. So far I've been eyeballing the gt3076r .63 turbine and the t3 60-1 .63

No I didn't. I did have one come to our dyno on an rb25 and it spooled awesome but had shitty top end. That probably had more to do with the rb head/cams than anything.

Anyone use that 935 turbo? How's it spool?

I run a T4 60-1 with a .58 exhaust housing & I'm hitting 18lbs @ 3800 rpm. I'm also running -3.0 degrees on the exhaust cam though, so you have to factor that in as well....

3076! i think would be a bad ass setup on a 1j, quick spool but still make great power..

i agree,t3 and ball bearings would make for amazing spool while also be capable of 500 hp. go for it.
