well after 3 long days, (very hot washington weather!)

the motor has came out, w/ head off due to bhg, . shimmed the oil pump & new timming belt. prepped for mhg, picked up my rebuilt head w/ 3 angle grind & n/a cams (turbo cams were in bad shape.. )

well it's never fun to work in the heat. but this dang car is soo fun to drive. i just had to do it.

just went to fire it back up, and it cranked and built pressure w/ efi fuse out, then i finialy tried to start it. got nothing but a back fire.. thought about it for a bit.. either the injectors are mixed up or the cps is in wrong.. pulled open my yota book, found the cps stuff, re-installed it and fired right up and started purrin. :icon_bigg


any way's, mhg is torqed to 90ft/lbs w/ arp's now i just have to time this baby, and make sure the coolant is good and double check the oil before the first test drive


any ways. hope to see some locals at the portland meet.

yeah it has been hot here in Portland and Vancouver, i had to work on my bussies Talon in Vancouver the other night and just waited til 1AM when it was cooler. lookin forward to seein it at the Portland meet, are you also going to Suprafest in August?

theres a meet this coming sat I believe keithh posted on sf I dunno how big its gunna be though or if its even still going on cuz I havent seen to much about it other then the one post.

yeah, i was planing on showing up, bbq sounds good any ways.

and it's always cool to see what other's have done w/ their car.


89turbo: I have been dieing for a reason to drive up there. is it a big meet?
