well after 3 long days, (very hot washington weather!)
the motor has came out, w/ head off due to bhg, . shimmed the oil pump & new timming belt. prepped for mhg, picked up my rebuilt head w/ 3 angle grind & n/a cams (turbo cams were in bad shape.. )
well it's never fun to work in the heat. but this dang car is soo fun to drive. i just had to do it.
just went to fire it back up, and it cranked and built pressure w/ efi fuse out, then i finialy tried to start it. got nothing but a back fire.. thought about it for a bit.. either the injectors are mixed up or the cps is in wrong.. pulled open my yota book, found the cps stuff, re-installed it and fired right up and started purrin. :icon_bigg
any way's, mhg is torqed to 90ft/lbs w/ arp's now i just have to time this baby, and make sure the coolant is good and double check the oil before the first test drive
