It is certainly true that we can get away with s softer spring than a car with struts. And a stiffer anti-roll bar, aka sway bar, will help maintain the tire patch when cornering.

Another Awesome thing about our suspension is the world class geometry. I have owned my 89 N/A for almost five years. I am on my second set of Goodyear 245-50/16’s, in all this time I have had my wheels aligned only twice the day after I had new tires installed. Not once have I had to rotate my tires in either of the sets I have run on. This set of Goodyear eagle F1's I have on now is wearing perfectly even front and rear and is looking to get me at least 35K miles. Thanks to the Toyota Suspension Engineers.
