the run down:

I have a 1987 supra turbo 5spd. the turbo motor was swapped for a 92 nonturbo cressida, clean swap nonturbo dash ect.

now i just swapped that motor for one i pulled out of a 1989 supra na/t, automatic.

i kept the 5spd and ecu, and clean swapped the motors these last two weeks. now all i have to do is put in the drive train and start it up and ride into the sunset. wrong

i went to start it, and the car turns on. thats as far as it gets. wont turn over starter wont turn, and i've checked its plugs and its all good but it still wont start. this is my first swap and i have no idea what to look for or start at as far as diagnosing its problem, any ideas?
i think the starter might be bad so if i put in the drive train and try to push start it. good or bad idea?

make sure your clutch safety switch is functioning correctly. Also, did you happen to use the harness from the auto NA-T?

wheres the saftey switch located, and i did use the auto wire harness the other was in bad shape, it was post 89 grey, and the ecu is pre 89 yellow, i think that may be the problem also.
