Just wondering a quick question, hope its not to easy, lol.
I looked around a little and didn't find anything.
I have a 87 supra turbo, 85k on it.
Mods-
hks electric boost controller,
fcd
intake
3in exhaust turbo back
60-1 rebuilt ct 26
intercooler hard pipes
bov-not sure what kind but not a cheap one
Ok so to my problem. recently i pulled the engine, cleaned replaced all the gaskets. cleaned all parts, and replaced the head gasket. went back in started right up with a perfect idle at 700 rpm's.
So I was happy. I drove it for a weekend everything was fine. I put it away for a couple weeks, and when i started it back up the idle stuck at 3k. I drove it down the street, shut it off and started it back up, idle back to normal. also when i let of the gas at more than 2k rpms the car wants to die.
My guesses- tps would be my first choice. next would be i think its the idle speed control.
Also, It is not throwing any codes. the engine runs strong, and when it is just sitting there it idles perfectly.
I am not good with electrical issues, and I'm just trying to get a place to start so I'm not messing around forever.
