I know that there has been a lot of talk about sub enclosures for us owners with targa's.

However I haven't been able to any info on anyone using a 10" sealed box for a single cab pickup.

The boxes are about 6" in depth, 24" in width, and 14" in heigth.

I'd like to know if anyone uses a box of this type or even know if it will fit, either laying down or standing upright.

Im at work right now and can't take dimension, but would like to buy it after I get off work.

Will it fit in the back and leave enough clearance for the targa to fit in the hatch? I took out the black metal piece to add about another 2-3" in height.

Thanks in advance

-Dan

Sorry, but I rather doubt it.

Your best bet by far is to build one properly. Pull the carpet and rear subfloor. Pull the spare, jack, and toolkit. Build a new subfloor, fiberglass it to the spare tire well, mount the sub(s) in the spare tire well area, and flush mount the amplifier / eq / whatever in the new subfloor.

That is .86 cu/ft if they used 1/2 mdf so the volume would be ok for a good small sealed box 10" woofer.
