stuttering

my 87 turbo 5-speed supra has a kind of stuttering problem.. idk if this is what all of them do but ive been told it shouldnt

if my cars warmed up and its idling which is around 650 750 and i hit the as down it bogs just real quick then picks up.. what could cause it?? dirty injector?

perhaps an air metering issue. if it's bogging, it's throwing in more fuel because it's compensating for more air. So something must be tricking it to think that more air is going into the motor than there actually is. id start by checking all the hoses at the AFM and checking the accordian hose for leaks.

accordian is is semi new.. old one was cracking and i baught one from a member here.. the MAF is a little dirty. i can use MAF spray cleaner right?

if you think its your injectors it might not be a bad idea to send them out to get cleaned and tested since well.. theyve probably been running in there a while hehe

check for codes and then check for vacuum leak and put some lucas fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank hopefully that helps solve the problem
