Struggling under acceleration

TPS - I would check position, wires, and ohms

My knock sensor would send it to limp mode and you can feel the timing "stepping" on hard acceleration (like at notches rather than smooth) but it runs just fine minus top end horsepower and a check engine light.

hey i had a problem similar to this after my rebuild. it was my main ground wire goind from battery to engine block.since the engine was painted it didn't make a proper ground. I also mixed up the 2 vsv (vacume sensing valves)under the intake. One was for fuel pressure. When i mixed up the 2 connectors i noticed i try to take off my car would die and come back and then start driving and when i go into boost or press the throttle hard it would hesitate. I hope this can help somebody.

I had exactly the same problem. You need to check your knock sensor connections and make sure they're still good. If not, then you need to rewire them. That code 52 is telling your ecu to retard your timing the moment you hit boost.
