Stronger spring for throttle body

I have installed a pedalbox in my car, andd now my throttle body does not want to close that easily anymore. If I push the gas pedal and then let go, then the pedal just comes back slowly or it stays in position. I thought if i get a stronger spring for my throttle body I would be able to fix this, but does anyone know where I can get something like that?

The throttle should snap closed unless the part you installed is leaving it open.

Never heard of stiffer springs for a stock tb.

Maybe you have something making your throttle cable stick.
Take off the throttle linkage, and try to see if it still sticks.

^ Ha. Ain't that the truth. It's amazing how people will mouse a problem rather than fix the root cause.

You should check to see why the pedal box is binding. The original spring should be strong enough. Other people have installed them without needing a stronger spring.
