stripped exhaust manifold header

On my header stub hole that is nearest to the distributor it won't tighten so i ordered a nut and stub from the toyota dealer ship since the old one was old and rusty.I figured that i striped the threads inside.what tool should i use to rethread if that is possible.if a threader what size should i use?

You will have to helicoil it if the threads are stripped.

That is a good question iwannadie.I ment to ask that before but that sliped my mind.That website might tell us that maybe.

You size the helicoil to the thread size for the bolt/stud. In this case, stock exhaust studs are M10x1.25.
