When you say stall, do you mean it dies and you have to re start or is it
like it falls flat on it's face.
Any codes? There has to be more to go on.
Throw a bone for someone to chew on. muzy

Sorry I wasn't alittle more detailed in my description I was pretty frustrated at the time lol. Anyway, while idling if I rev it it will just die. While driving, nomatter the speed if I press the pedal more than 10% of its travel the rpm drops to 1000rpm and stay there till I release it and get into its "sweet spot" which is between 0 and 10% throttle. BTW the car only goes 40mph and takes a 1/2 mile to get there lol. I gave it WOT and it didn't sputter or anything it just started making popping sounds which to me sounds like a lean misfire, it didn't jump or seem like it wanted to go faster it was just not doing anything but popping. There are no codes and I did unplug the TPS and that didn't matter it still does it, I also put my ECU into another car and it actually made my friends car run better lol. So I'm alittle lost at the moment. (I forgot to mention if you unplug the TPS the ECU will no longer use it as an input for throttle and look to other sensors to compensate) Thanks for the input, I'll try to respond as often as I can

I can't press the pedal far enouph for the car to even attempt to boost, but with the idle at factory spec wouldnt a boost leak alter it? Or maybe I'm getting it confused with vacuum leak lol. I'll check my vacuum lines and intercooler hoses in the morning, any other ideas are welcome this problem has been plaguing me for some time

you probably have a realllllllllly bad boost leak or your maf is messed up reallllly bad

i had a bad boost leak a month ago, a tube popped off because a clamp wasnt on and i didnt even know what was going on until i found it and it cured everything

as for the maf, i could see your engine basically not registering any increase of air consumption thus not pouring in more fuel, which would cause your engine to stall
... im pretty sure

definately sounds like your afm check connection check all vacuum lines.

playing the odds here....doubtful it has anything to do with a bad AFM unless he left it unplugged or something in which he wouldn't really be able to drive anywhere

It was a bad AFM, Its been replaced but while replacing it I noticed the housing was oddly large so I compared it to my 91's housing and yea its alot bigger. So its got the lexus on there so I thought back and remember me and my brother swapped airfilters and blah blah blah long story short one of my lexus afms ended up on the car with the bad sensor so its off the car and gonna be put on for sale secton once I get a camera lol I'll include the bad sensor for free lol
