i have a set of tems shocks from an 88, and my red car doesn't have tems ,

i was wondering would it be worth while to put the tem shocks on and just put them into sport mode and leave them there?

my car sit's like a monster truck right now, i can almost put 2 fist's in the wheel gab, im talking taking the school speed bumps @ 40mph or more, ride's like a cadilac,

and i need a sports car!

thnx alot guys for any knowlege you bring me.

You could, but why? If you want it lower, get a set of springs and shocks lowered to match.

I like TEMS, as the way it was designed.

ultimate goal more so stifer ride, like i said it feels like a cadlilac.. ive been lookign at some shock and spring combos and it looks for arouhnd 500 i could land some hting decent.. im just about to swap my 5spd in , and probaly will smoke a few sets of tires gettin sidewayz, @ pir of course, so what would be decent for that till i can afford the real deal? (or get me by happy as content?)

My advice is to bear with the boat ride for a few months and save up a little more for some of the low-end coilovers. Stock TEMS shocks aren't likely to do much for you, plus they are probably worn out anyway...
