ok guys so here is my question. i just ordered my 2jzgte head gasket and was wondering if i could use my oem head bolts. my hp goal is 500whp at least. and if so, do i just torque to oem specs or is there a new torque spec like the 7m's? thanks

2j bolts are stretch bolts. I think there are specs in the TSRM about reusing them, but ARP headstud set is cheap and peace of mind.
ARP... I did get an inexpensive set of OEM-replacement headbolts for a GE I'm rebuilding. Got 'em from a trusted seller on Ebay. However, I was rebuilding to stock specs, not high HP.
I think to replace them w/stock Toyota ones would be as much as buying the ARPs, so it'd be silly not to go with the ARPs anyways.
