Does the stock boost gauge get a reading from boost pressure or does it display according to airflow from the MAS??

There is an actual boost pressure sensor on the car.

There is a vac line from the back of the mani to a small box on the drivers side, then that gives a reading to the gauge.

And the car does not have a mass air flow sensor either.

I'm just glad our cars actually come with a stock gauge. It still amazes me how many turbo cars comes without a boost guage, especially other sports cars like the rx-7. I'd take our crappy stock gauge over no gauge at all :biglaugh:
